Krewe of Ice is more than a Mardi Gras float — it’s the beginning of a new
Gulf Coast tradition built on celebration, friendship, music, community, and unforgettable experiences. As a founding member, you’re not just joining a krewe… you’re helping create something legendary from the ground floor.
How it started
What started nearly 20 years ago as a simple invitation to ride in a Mardi Gras parade in Baton Rouge became a tradition. For years, Kasey tried convincing me to stop watching the parade from the streets and experience Mardi Gras from the float itself. Once I finally gave in, I understood immediately — this was an organization I wanted to immediately be involved in.

Over time, we became deeply involved in one of Louisiana’s most iconic Mardi Gras organizations, riding in the legendary Spanishtown Parade in Baton Rouge. What began as a small group of friends eventually evolved into leadership, partnerships, and years of unforgettable festival seasons.

Then one morning while preparing for another parade, we came across it…
A massive, custom-built, three-level Mardi Gras float unlike anything we had ever seen.

For years it had been one of the most recognized floats in all of Spanishtown — a true centerpiece of Mardi Gras culture in Louisiana. When the opportunity unexpectedly came to purchase it, we knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to build something even bigger.
Now, after years of Mardi Gras experience and three incredible years building our lives and community at Icehouse Tap Room in Gulf Shores, we are bringing that dream to the coast.
And we want YOU to be part of it.

You are one of only 50 people personally selected to become a founding member of Krewe of Ice — a new Mardi Gras krewe built around unforgettable experiences, incredible people, community involvement, and the true spirit of celebration.

MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:
• Riding on one of the largest floats on the Gulf Coast
• Entry into Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Mardi Gras parades
• Beads included for both parades

• Priority membership renewal for next year

But Krewe of Ice is more than Mardi Gras.
Our vision is to create a high-energy organization that not only celebrates life, music, and community — but also gives back in meaningful ways. We plan to support local musicians, youth programs, schools, sports, arts, and Gulf Coast families whenever possible.
​
FOUNDING MEMBER DUES: $1,200 annually
Year One dues include parade beads, float transportation from Louisiana, storage, maintenance, and operational costs.

IMPORTANT:
Membership is limited to only 50 riders and invitations are open for 30 days due to parade preparation deadlines. Once the float is filled, founding members will have priority access to next season's and future Krewe events.

Important Information
Krewe of Ice is committed to creating an unforgettable Mardi Gras experience for our members while celebrating and supporting our Gulf Coast community.
Please understand that all parades and events are subject to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, city regulations, safety requirements, scheduling changes, or decisions made by parade organizations and local authorities.
Membership dues contribute toward float transportation, maintenance, storage, improvements, parade preparation, supplies, and overall Krewe operations. Due to these ongoing commitments and expenses, membership dues are non-refundable.
Participation in all parades is dependent upon approval and acceptance by the appropriate city officials, parade organizations, and governing committees. Krewe of Ice will complete all required applications and make every effort to participate in scheduled events; however, final approval remains with the organizing authorities.
